Student Government is getting a new Logo!
The old Western Student Government logo needs a refresh. The goal of this logo contest is to get students involved with the organization that represents them. Western Student Government works to improve campus life, foster communication between students and the college, ensure appropriate use of student activity money, and strengthen student organizations. This is what the logo should represent. On this page you'll find the requirements for a new logo, how to submit your ideas, and a schedule for the competition.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN:

The logo should be easy to see and read even in a 1 ½" box. Keep it simple and clean.

It should represent Western Student Government by using the fonts as wells as the primary and secondary colors detailed below.

Tertiary accent colors are allowed but they should not be used as main colors for the design.

The logo should also incorporate the terms "Western Student Government" or "SG" in its design.

You may use any program available to you (Canva, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.)
How to Submit:

Email the file to Student Parliamentarian at studentparliament@westerntc.edu

Save your design in an easily readable format (.jpeg, .gif, .png, .pdf, .doc, .docx)

The deadline for submissions is January 9th, 2023

The submissions will be judged over the following week and the top three designs will be brought before the General Assembly on January 16th, 2023 to be voted on.

The winning design will be announced the next day, on January 17th.
The prize for the winning design will be $250 gift card!
