Operation River Watch

Help make a difference in the community by volunteering for Operation River Watch. After losing students to river-related casualties, the three colleges started this is a combined effort between Western, UW-L, and Viterbo to keep students away from the river at night. 

Operation River Watch runs during Fall and Spring term, and the three colleges alternate weekends. A weekend consist of shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Each night, there are 11pm-1am and 1am-3am shifts.


To see Western's weekends and sign up for shifts, please click the link below. Clubs who volunteer are eligible for $25 dollars per shift per person in club funding. These funds are paid out at the end of the term.
